Eastern Star Golf Course was designed and built in 1991 by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., one of the foremost designers of championship golf courses in the world. The eighteen holes are beautifully carved out of a coconut palm plantation, and meander through the lovely residential areas of Eastern Star Country Club & Resort.
Set in an old coconut plantation this popular course features wide fairways and hundreds of coconut palms. A magnificent club house, swimming pools & sports club makes this course the first choice for family outings.This is a local favorite and plays host to several area competitions. The course can play quite long, particularly from the championship blue tees, where the distance is more than 7,100 yards. The signature hole is the fiendishly picturesque par 3 fourth, which lulls players into admiring the scenery, rather than paying attention to their task of playing over water to a heavily bunkered green.
